FOLDS & RIVETS

FOLDS & RIVETS is a 1m cantilevered project exploring the structural properties of folds. Digital tools were used to aid in the physical fabrication process, from 3D modeling to the creation of cutting templates for the metal. Efficiency and building techniques often seen in manufacturing industries, such as airplane production, were applied during assembly.
